ABOUT MY PRACTICE
Thomas Peters is an Associate Attorney with Quirk & Parnell, LLC, where his practice focuses on litigation, bankruptcy, foreclosure, transactional matters, and domestic relations. He represents financial institutions, private businesses, and individuals in a wide range of disputes, with an emphasis on practical strategy and efficient resolution.
Thomas maintains an active litigation practice and regularly appears in state and federal courts throughout Georgia. His experience includes handling matters that require detailed preparation, evidentiary hearings, and direct advocacy before the court.
He represents banks and creditors in loan enforcement and recovery matters, including foreclosure proceedings from pre-foreclosure strategy through sale, loan workouts, and creditor representation in bankruptcy cases. He regularly works through Chapter 7 and Chapter 11 matters, helping clients protect their positions and maximize recovery.
Thomas also represents private businesses in collection matters on both the creditor and defense side, providing a practical perspective when pursuing or defending claims. His practice further includes construction-related matters, including disputes arising out of contracts and project performance.
In addition, Thomas handles transactional and general commercial matters, which informs his approach to litigation and allows him to provide business-oriented guidance.
His domestic relations experience includes handling divorce, custody, child support, legitimation, and modification actions. He has managed a high volume of contested matters and is experienced in all phases of these cases, including pleadings, discovery, motion practice, and evidentiary hearings. Thomas is comfortable advocating in court and works closely with clients to navigate the legal and practical challenges these matters present, with a focus on developing clear strategy and achieving workable outcomes.
