ABOUT MY PRACTICE
I began my legal career in 1989 as a Trial Attorney with the United States Department of Justice, Antitrust Division, in Washington, D.C. While with the United States Department of Justice, I represented the United States in the enforcement of criminal antitrust laws and in civil merger investigations. I returned to Atlanta, Georgia in 1992 to practice as an Associate Attorney with King & Spalding in the firm’s Special Matters group. While with King & Spalding, I represented corporate clients in white collar criminal matters and in government investigations. In 1994, I joined Quirk & Quirk, LLC. I currently am a Senior Attorney and Member of the firm, practicing in the area of general civil litigation. I represent financial institutions, health care organizations, and other companies and individuals in a variety of commercial lawsuits in the trial and appellate courts. In addition, a portion of my practice is devoted to representing adults and young individuals in white collar and nonviolent criminal matters. In addition to my litigation practice, I periodically review or prepare wills and estate planning documentation, employment agreements and severance agreements, leases, forbearance agreements, and other legal documentation.
